Our mission is to empower grassroot communities in Cameroon by providing a highly secure, transparent, and offline-verified crowdfunding platform. Sponsored by the ACADI NGO, we strive to bridge the gap between passionate project leads and generous donors worldwide, ensuring every contribution reaches its intended destination securely via Mobile Money and verified local channels.
The Story Behind HelepMe
Founded in 2018, the Association for Community Awareness and Development Initiatives (ACADI) has been at the forefront of driving local development, healthcare access, and educational support across rural and urban Cameroon. Over years of ground operations, we witnessed a recurring, painful problem: brilliant, critical community initiatives failing because they lacked access to modern fundraising tools, while diaspora sponsors lacked a mechanism to trust where their money was actually going.
Traditional crowdfunding sites do not cater to the Cameroonian reality. They require international bank accounts, charge heavy intermediary fees, and possess zero capacity to verify if a project in a village near Bamenda, Maroua, or Bafoussam is authentic or fraudulent.

To solve this once and for all, ACADI created HelepMe. By merging digital crowdfunding with our existing network of physical, on-the-ground NGO verification officers, we built an ecosystem where projects are physically audited before they go live, and funds are distributed locally via secure, integrated Mobile Money channels (MTN MoMo & Orange Money).
